01 What's new

  1. Easily split images into named parts

You can now break any image into distinct, named sections directly on your canvas. The app automatically organizes these parts into a clean row, keeping track of how they relate to the original image.

  2. Generate 3D models from multiple views

The Quick Run tool now lets you feed multiple images into a single 3D generation task. This helps you get more accurate results by providing different perspectives of your subject.

  3. Open beta access for everyone

Artyx is officially in open beta, meaning you no longer need to wait for approval to start creating. Simply download the app and dive right in.

  4. Better image management and editing

We have added handy right-click options to copy images or open them in your folders. You can also now send your images directly to Affinity Photo for quick touch-ups.

02 Where to find it

  1. 01

To split an image, right-click on an image node and select the segmentation tool to open the background panel.

Once processed, you will see your image parts laid out horizontally on the canvas.

  2. 02

To use multiview 3D, open the Quick Run panel and drag multiple images into the designated view slots before clicking Generate 3D.

The system will automatically prevent you from using the same image twice in the slots.

  3. 03

To edit an image in Affinity Photo, right-click on any image node and select the external editor option.

Make sure you have Affinity Photo installed on your computer for this integration to work.
