Cleaner UI and stronger agent tools

This release makes Artyx feel more polished and capable. The app gets a flatter dark interface, the default fast model is upgraded, and the agent can now work with orthographic views and retexture 3D objects more directly. It also fixes a few reliability issues so chats, connections, and marketplace links behave more predictably.

What’s new

  1. Faster default generation

    Fast mode now uses Gemini 3.6 Flash, which should feel quicker and sharper than before. The model picker also includes new options for text and image work, including Seedream 5.0 Pro for high-fidelity images and reference-image edits up to 4K.

  2. Orthographic texture workflow

    The agent can now extract, analyze, and apply orthographic views, then retexture 3D objects from chat. This is especially useful if you work from front, side, or top views and want the agent to help build clean game-ready textures.

  3. Cleaner, more professional interface

    Settings and the rest of the app now use a flatter dark style with simpler rows, clearer headings, and more compact controls. Buttons and chips also use a more standard sentence-case look, and offline plugin states are less alarming.

  4. More reliable agent handoffs

    Delegated subagent work is now protected so duplicate requests do not cause reports to go missing. The app also refreshes connection status and tool lists more reliably when a server disconnects.

  5. Marketplace opens to the right place

    Marketplace links now jump straight to the Agents section in Settings instead of landing at the top of the page. That makes it faster to find and install agent presets.

Where to find it

    Open the left sidebar and click the new Agents panel.

    This panel now sits alongside Skills and Plugins, matching the rest of the app’s navigation.

    Choose an agent preset from the Marketplace or the Agents section in Settings.

    You may see presets such as a weapon-building expert, with install rules based on your app version.

    Open a chat with the agent and ask it to work from orthographic views.

    The agent can extract and apply front, side, or top views, then help retexture a 3D object.

    Open the model picker if you want to change generation quality or speed.

    Fast mode now uses Gemini 3.6 Flash, and the text and image model lists include several new options.

    Go to Settings to see the new flatter layout.

    Look for divider rows, lowercase chips, and the more compact button style throughout the page.
